Inspired by late nights after raves both in the cities and deep wilderness, Riflefeet (Matt Ripley) explores of range of aesthetics rooted in techno and bass music. Through gritty tense atmospheres backed by jagged percussive workouts, 'Night Streets' dispels expectation and finds liberty in obscured shadows.

Riflefeet's approach to rhythmic structure and compositional form are heavily influenced by his studies at Calarts and abroad of musical cultures including Ghana, Bali, Java, India, and Iran as well as the minimalist movement of the 1960's with John Cage and Steve Reich among others. Dense polyrhythm, percussive leads, a heavy moods take the foreground with references to nostalgic rave which delve into the futuristic.
